While I was going over some of the particulars of the site during a phone conversation on March 2, "Brian" invited me to attend the Gospel Music Awards with him in April. He offered to pay for my flight, hotel, and to furnish the tickets to the awards ceremony. He also said that because he is with the press, we would be going backstage to interview the artists, etc. He said that the tickets to the awards ceremony were in the 10th row, center. I was delighted and accepted. He said that the reason he made the offer was because he was so delighted with the work we were doing for him.

That trip never materialized because I wound up unable to go during that timeframe anyway. When we met, later, though, "Brian" groused that my airfare had cost $400 for the trip.
